About Us
Welcome

If you’ve found your way to me, chances are you’ve been carrying something heavy—maybe the ache of grief, the sting of loss, or just the quiet emptiness that comes with not being touched in a safe, nurturing way. First, let me say this: you’re not alone, and you don’t have to hold it all by yourself anymore.
I’m a professional Cuddlist with a heart that’s open, a personality that’s bubbly and easygoing, and a deep love for creating spaces where people feel truly seen, safe, and cared for. I bring compassion, playfulness, and presence into every session—offering gentle, respectful connections that meet you exactly where you are.
Whether touch feels unfamiliar, even a little scary, or you’re just deeply craving warmth and comfort—you’re welcome here. You’ll never be rushed or judged. We move at your pace, always with clear communication and deep respect for your boundaries.
After our time together, you’ll leave feeling grounded, lighter, and more connected to yourself. You might even breathe a little easier, sleep a little deeper, and carry a renewed sense of calm and belonging into your days.
So if your heart needs a soft place to land, I’ve got you. Let’s begin gently, together.
About me
I’m Julie—a Cuddlist-trained practitioner, wife, mom of five, including two incredible young adults with autism, and a lifelong nurturer. Through my personal journey, I’ve witnessed how difficult and complex touch can be, especially for those who are touch-averse. Watching my children struggle with sensory challenges has taught me the importance of patience, safety, and meeting people exactly where they are.
Before my journey into Cuddle Therapy, I spent years as an intensive care nurse, where I supported individuals and families through some of the most vulnerable and tender moments of life. That experience gave me a deep well of empathy, especially for those navigating grief, loss, or emotional disconnection. I carry that same presence and compassion into my Cuddle sessions, creating a gentle, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore the power of safe, nurturing touch.
At The Embrace Space, every session is guided by consent, communication, and care. Whether you’re working through grief, touch aversion, sensory overwhelm, or simply seeking to feel more grounded and connected, I’m honored to walk beside you. Together, we’ll create space for My
BENEFITS OF CUDDLE THERAPY
Benefits of Cuddle Therapy
- Reduces Stress & Anxiety
Physical touch releases oxytocin, a hormone that helps lower cortisol levels (the stress hormone), promoting relaxation and emotional ease. - Boosts Mood & Emotional Well-being
Cuddling triggers the release of serotonin and dopamine, which help regulate mood, increase feelings of happiness, and reduce symptoms of depression. - Enhances Connection & Reduces Loneliness
Cuddle therapy provides a safe, platonic space for human connection, which can combat feelings of isolation and foster a sense of belonging. - Improves Sleep Quality
The calming effects of touch help relax the nervous system, often leading to deeper, more restful sleep. - Supports Trauma Recovery
Safe, consensual touch can play a role in healing from trauma by rebuilding trust, comfort, and body awareness in a controlled environment. - Increases Self-Awareness & Confidence
Through non-verbal connection and clear communication of boundaries, clients often develop a stronger sense of self-worth and emotional clarity. - Regulates Heart Rate & Blood Pressure
Gentle, nurturing touch can help calm the nervous system, which in turn supports cardiovascular health. - Encourages Mindfulness & Presence
Being held or holding someone mindfully can anchor clients in the present moment, promoting a meditative and grounding experience. - Teaches Healthy Boundaries & Communication
Cuddle therapy involves open dialogue about consent and comfort, helping clients practice setting and respecting boundaries. - Non-Sexual, Platonic Touch
Many people crave touch but don’t want it to be sexualized. Cuddle therapy fills this gap by offering intimacy without expectations. - Gently Reintroduces Touch in a Safe, Controlled Way
For those who are touch-averse due to past experiences, sensory sensitivity, or trauma, cuddle therapy offers a respectful, judgment-free environment to explore physical connection at their own pace. This can help rebuild comfort with touch, increase body autonomy, and reduce fear or discomfort over time.
